Tickets are now on sale for Buckner International’s Hope for Children fundraiser, which features an evening with Emmy Award-winning actress Patricia Heaton (“Everybody Loves Raymond,” “The Middle”). All proceeds from the May 7 event at the Renaissance Dallas Hotel will benefit the nonprofit’s work protecting vulnerable children and strengthening families across North Texas.

Attendees will enjoy a three-course dinner of salmon and ribeye while listening to a moderated Q&A between Heaton and WFAA’s evening anchor Cynthia Izaguirre. In addition, Buckner International CEO and President Albert Reyes will speak about the faith-based nonprofit’s mission and how the community can help.

Heaton is best known for her role as Debra Barone on the series “Everybody Loves Raymond. She won two Emmy® Awards for the role and was nominated 7 times. In addition to her Emmy® wins, Heaton is also the recipient of the Best Comedy Actress award from the Viewers for Quality Television, a SAG award and three SAG nominations in the Best Actress category.

In addition to her acting and producing credits, Heaton is a bestselling author whose book, “Motherhood and Hollywood -- How to Get a Job Like Mine,” was on the New York Times best-sellers list. She also wrote a cookbook, “Patricia Heaton’s Food for Family and Friends,” which published last year.

Never shy about proclaiming her Christian faith, Heaton has decided to use her influence to help vulnerable people around the world by highlighting the work of nonprofits.

“We are pleased to announce Patricia Heaton as this year’s featured speaker at our annual North Texas fundraiser,” said Dr. Albert Reyes. “Ms. Heaton has long used her platform as an acclaimed actress to help inspire change in the world through advocacy and philanthropy.

“We hope her words on the importance of family and service to others will likewise inspire those in the audience to become involved with Buckner, whether it be through volunteering, annual gifts or spreading our message of hope and ministry.”

Individual tickets for Buckner Hope for Children cost $250. Sponsorship opportunities, which include one or more tables, start at $5,000. VIP access will provide guests with signed books and a photo opportunity with Heaton.
