Dallas Symphony Orchestra returns to Kidd Springs Park on Thursday June 3rd for a free outdoor concert at 8:15 p.m. 711 West Canty St. 75208. Cara Mia Theater will provide entertainment starting at 7 p.m. Food trucks, vendors and artisans are invited to participate in the Kidd Springs Central Festival starting at 5 p.m. to encourage more attendees to this free event. The Dallas Symphony Parks Concert at Kidd Springs is sponsored by Methodist Health System, GFT Charity and supported in part by funds from the Office of Arts and Culture, City of Dallas. The Kidd Springs Park Concert will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

Celebrate the start of summer with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra in a free outdoor concert filled with patriotic music and American classics conducted by Michelle Merrill. Additional concerts will be held at Flag Pole Hill on May 31st at 8:15 p.m. (rain site: Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center) and at Paul Quinn College on June 15th at 8:15 p.m. (rain site: The Tiger’s Den Gymnasium). Visit www.dallassymphony.org for more information.

The DSO’s top priority is the health and safety of their staff, musicians, and audiences. Therefore, DSO requests the following safety protocols be observed when attending the DSO concert:

  • Masks are not required, but they are encouraged when you are not seated with your group.
  • Social distancing is important; please maintain six feet from others outside your immediate group.
  • Gatherings are limited to groups of 10 – please be courteous and keep six feet between groups.
  • Sanitizing stations will be available throughout each event. If you are waiting in line, please stay six feet apart. Masks and sanitizer will be provided upon request while supplies last.
