The Mesquite Real. Texas. Festival. has developed a new photo contest to zoom in on all the great images captured by attendees. Details are here. The festival is scheduled for Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26 at Rodeo Center, 1818 Rodeo Drive.

Festival Coordinator Shannon Craft said, “We hope to expose some really great photos which frame up the contrast of all the activities the festival offers.”

Pre-sale tickets are $15 and are available through April 18. There is free gate admission for all attendees age 16 and under, as well as free parking and complimentary shuttle services from Memorial Stadium. For ticket details, visit the site

The festival will host country superstars Big & Rich, Casey Donahew, Hudson Moore and many other musical entertainers. The festival will also include the Mesquite Championship Rodeo, the “Cowboys and Chrome” car show, the Taste of Mesquite Barbeque Competition, the popular “Kids Korral” activity center, a carnival midway and more.
