Patrons of the Mesquite Main Library are invited to join the Book Club. The featured book for December is Belgravia by Julian Fellowes.  It is the eve of the Battle of Waterloo, 15th June 1815. The Duchess of Richmond throws a magnificent ball in Brussels for the Duke of Wellington.  The guests include James and Anne Trenchard, who have made their money in trade. Their beautiful daughter Sophia has caught the eye of Edmund Bellasis, the son and heir of one of Britain’s most prominent families.  Twenty-five years later, when the two families are settled in the newly developed area of Belgravia, the events of the ball still resonate.  Because behind Belgravia’s magnificent doors is a world of secrets, gossip and intrigue…

The book club meets the first Thursday of each month to discuss the book.  Please Join Us! For more information, please contact the Main Library at 972-216-6220. Open to ages 17 and older.
